Not that he was obeying his doctor’s orders to take things easy – during the shoot he also tried to get his new novel under way. David Niven only made one movie in 1976, a Disney production called ‘Candleshoe’, filmed in the San Fernando Valley and Stratford-upon-Avon. ![]()
